This new version of “A measure of information system efficiency” by Rolando Gapud is edited by Primary Source Edition and published by Nabu Press (5 Jan 2014)
The book is about the management of information systems and was originaly published by MIT Sloan School of Management based on an unpublished Master’s thesis wrote by Rolando Gapud.
What is proposed in this book is a measure of how efficiently the information system satisfied the demands of the decision maker rather than whether or not it satisfied his demands. Consequently, the components of the measure are calculated after a decision has been made.
The merit of this measure is that it indicates some of the aspects of the information system which can be improved in a specific decision-making situation.
